Vac-It Inc was started in 2012 Stan and his brother in laws Jerrold and Ken with a small single axle dumpster truck and vacuum. Since then we've grown to 3 vacuums, 2 tandem dump trucks as well as cranes for easy and safe hoisting. We vacuum roughly a million square ft of roof every year. We're centrally located in Winnipeg but we'll drive where the money is green and the stones are plentiful. 2022 will be our tenth year and we've learned a few things along the way. Probably the most important thing is not what we can do but what we can't.
We can clear a roof better and faster than the conventional way grumpy men with sweepers and shovels. How do we do that? We invested in state-of-the-art, specialized vacuum equipment strong enough to vacuum bowling balls. When it comes to flat roofs, our vacuum equipment gives us the edge, we can vacuum over a distance of 600 feet and over 20 plus stories high. 2 of our guys can vacuum stone fast than 5 guys with power brooms, wheelbarrows and backpack blowers. It’s all about getting the job done fast and efficiently with safety in mind so you can move to the next roof and more roofs means more profits. The only thing that hasn't changed is we're still covered in dust from head to toe.
